This event is open to students of the New York University and members of the local community. The purpose of the event is to:

  • initiate an open discussion about Haiti
  • offer support for members of the NYU community affected by the earthquake
  • galvanize a community concerned about conditions in Haiti
  • increase awareness about Haiti's history, culture and role on the world stage
  • develop thought leadership on possible solutions for rebuilding its economy
  • identify possible next steps...
